About Me & This Whole Eallmode Thing

Hey there! I go by MJ – that’s what my family and friends call me, and I’d love for you to do the same. When you read my articles and posts here, I’ll be talking to you like a friend, straight from the heart. No fancy titles or mysterious personas needed – just real conversations about life, growth, and everything in between. Besides, who needs formalities when we’re about to dive into the deep stuff together, right?

Let me be real with you: I’m a recovering perfectionist who’s probably had too much coffee today (okay, definitely too much coffee), and I’ve spent more years than I’d like to admit chasing after those so-called “secrets” of personal growth. You know the ones – those life-changing formulas that promise to transform you into a superhuman by next Tuesday? Yeah, I fell for those too.

But here’s the thing: I’m not here to be your guru. I won’t promise you some magical five-step solution to all your problems, and I definitely won’t tell you that drinking celery juice at 5 AM will change your life. (Though if that works for you, hey, no judgment.)

What I will give you is what I wish someone had given me years ago: straight talk about personal growth that doesn’t require a psychology degree to understand. No more decoding complicated self-help jargon or trying to figure out if you’re “manifesting” correctly. Just honest conversations about what actually works, what definitely doesn’t, and everything I’ve learned along the way – usually the hard way.

Think of me as that friend who’s made all the mistakes so you don’t have to. (You’re welcome, by the way.)

My Story (The Non-BS Version)

Five years ago, I was neck-deep in what I call the “personal development paradox” – reading every self-help book I could find while simultaneously making my life more complicated with each new “life-changing” technique I discovered. Yeah, ironic, right?

Then one day, while trying to meditate (and failing miserably) in my cramped apartment, it hit me: We’re making this whole thing way harder than it needs to be. All these experts were basically saying the same thing, just wrapped in different layers of fancy jargon and Instagram-worthy quotes.

That’s when Eallmode was born.

What's With the Weird Name?

Eallmode comes from “Eall” (Old English for “all”) and “Mode” (way of being). Why? Because I’m a language nerd, and it sounded better than “TotallyAwareAndBadass.com”. Plus, it represents what I’m trying to do here – help you get your shit together in all areas of your life, without the usual self-help nonsense.

What I Actually Do Here

I take those complicated personal development ideas that usually make your eyes glaze over and break them down into something you can actually use. No spiritual bypassing, no toxic positivity, no “manifest your best life by thinking happy thoughts.”

Instead, you get:
– Straight talk about mental health and personal growth
– Practical advice that doesn’t require you to move to a monastery
– Real strategies for dealing with your internal bullshit
– Occasional swearing (because personal growth isn’t always pretty)

My Philosophy (If You Want to Call It That)

Here’s what I believe: Most of our problems come from trying too hard to fix ourselves when we’re not actually broken. We’re just human, dealing with human stuff, in a world that’s constantly telling us we need to be better, do more, and achieve everything.

At Eallmode, I’m not here to tell you how to live your life. I’m here to help you figure out what works for you, minus the guilt trips and unrealistic expectations.

The No-BS Promise

Everything I write here is:

  • Written in plain English (because fancy words don’t make you smarter)
  • Tested in real life (usually through my own embarrassing experiences)
  • Free of magical thinking and quick-fix promises
  • Actually useful (or I don’t publish it)

Who This Is For

This site is for you if:

  • You’re tired of fluffy personal development advice
  • You want real solutions, not just inspirational quotes
  • You can handle some harsh truths (with a side of humor)
  • You’re ready to do the work (but don’t want to become a zen master)

Let's Get Started

If you’re still reading this, you probably appreciate someone who tells it like it is. Welcome to Eallmode. Let’s cut through the noise and figure this life thing out together.

Want the real stuff? Sign up for my newsletter. No BS, no spam, just straight talk about getting better at being human.

P.S. Yes, I Actually Read My Emails

Unlike those “gurus” with 17 virtual assistants, when you email me, it’s actually me responding. So feel free to reach out. Just know that I might take a day or two to get back to you because, you know, life.
